Tinnitus is usually described as ringing in your ears, but it is actually the perception of a noise, usually when no one else can hear it. This often manifests as a ringing sound, but can also be a pulsing, whooshing, clicking or crackling sound. If you've noticed any of these sounds for more than a few days, you may be suffering from tinnitus. While most cases are harmless, a sudden ringing in your ears can mark changes in your blood pressure or other health issues. Usually, tinnitus will clear up in a few hours.

Some research has indicated a connection between vitamin deficiencies and tinnitus, but there is no research showing that vitamins will cure tinnitus. Sadly, there is no known cure for tinnitus and most ways to manage it help you either mask it or make it less noticeable.
